Tuck Lee, studies with Liang Wang, Principal Oboist of the New York Philharmonic. While at Northwestern University (BM, MM), he studied with Ray Still, former Principal Oboist of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. During his graduate studies he won his first job, as Oboist with the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra.
Tuck has also held positions with the New World Symphony under Michael Tilson Thomas, the Malaysian Philharmonic, and Ravinia Festival Orchestra, and has performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and San Francisco Symphony.
He currently maintains a private teaching studio and was on the adjunct faculty at Manhattan School of Music as an Assistant to Mr. Wang. In addition to his work at Wicked, Tuck performs with the New York Philharmonic and nearly all the major orchestras and chamber ensembles in New York City.
